Poem: Carmelites

a noose of rain

Dachau is but a nest of stones and Carmelite

the barracks are no more

the town has festivals

the brookstills outside the wire

the bridge babbles the crematorium

the hangman says

the earth does not reek

the town is not

fat

there is no

Fleisch in the smoke
