Giganton

battle gods

and lie, kneeling on the ground,

curators say,

to rise again



warriorAthena looks throughafallen


stub

of leg, brandishing a


…snake



16 coil from her

cloak


her braidedhair

rearsinto



firstcity is its soil,

openmouth

teeming with fangs,



Athina of serpents, goddess polias

growsfromhertail



giantsstruck,

not about to rise

but to dissolve

heavy

with poison

into the soi l
